Today’s three things are pretty simple… seasonings I use on the regular. In no particular order…
01. Morton Coarse Kosher Salt. I am a big fan of salt on things. Coarse salt in particular is just the perfect texture to really taste it. We keep it in a salt cellar right by the stove for easy seasoning at our fingertips. We got our salt box at West Elm (sadly no longer available), but I just saw this one from Threshold at Target which looks pretty great too :
02. Dorot frozen garlic cubes. A good friend turned me onto these little gems in the frozen food section at Trader Joe’s. They come in a mini ice cube tray sort of thing and you can just pop them out in whatever quantity you need them. No peeling, crushing, or mincing necessary. thekitchn agrees 🙂
03. Trader Joe’s 21 Seasoning Salute. I randomly picked up this jar of spices (onion, black pepper, celery seed, cayenne pepper, parsley, basil, marjoram, bay leaf, oregano, thyme, savory, rosemary, cumin, mustard, coriander, garlic, carrot, orange peel, tomato, lemon juice and lemon oil to be exact). We have been using it on our burgers all summer long. Just douse your ground beef with worcestershire sauce, sprinkle seasoning liberally and you’re good to go.
There you have it. Happy seasoning, friends!
