starting up a new little series for thursdays called three things. might be random, might be helpful… but really just three things i’m loving lately. these three albums have been on repeat all summer at our house.
01. gregory alan isakov with the colorado symphony. if i were to pick a favorite musical artist, one that i return to again and again. the soundtrack of my life, as it were, it would probably most definitely be this guy. this album is a compilation of songs from his 3 albums accompanied by a lush orchestra. favorite track : the stable song
02. sandra mccracken : God’s Highway. this is a new release that i’ve been putting on first thing every morning. sandra has this raw honest way of singing that is both simple and compelling. there are pieces of her story that remind me of my own, and i love hearing someone sing confident of truth after walking through hard things. favorite track : steadfast
03. tumbledown soundtrack. random, i know, but the soundtrack from this indy movie has become a favorite around here. a mix of instrumental and soothing vocals. it’s the perfect background music. favorite track : silver joy
any new music suggestions for me? i’d love to hear them… comment below!

You need to check out Celloasis “Into the Night” album for your next repeat! You will value the story behind her composing.
