It’s been a little while since I’ve done a three things round up. Here are 3 iphone apps I’m liking lately :
Wunderlist // I am a big fan of list making, and while I always prefer the pen to paper method, that’s not always practical if I happen to be out and don’t have that list handy. Which is where wunderlist has been a huge help. I have a number of different lists going on my phone — trader joes, boxed order, our farm order, target, etc… When I notice we are running low or out of something, I can pull out my phone and add it to my list. Then when I’m making my shopping list, or happen to be at that store, I don’t have to try to jog my memory for whether or not we need toilet paper… Seriously, it’s been a lifesaver. I also have lists of books I want to read, movies we want to see, restaurants to try for date night, etc… Love this little list making app.
Down Dog // Over the past six months, I’ve been trying to consistently exercise more and yoga has been my go to. I’m a big fan of Yoga w/ Adriene on youtube; but recently, a friend posted about this app on instagram and it’s quickly become part of my routine. I love the flexibility for the time that I have. I love the music. And I love the variety of practices it offers. I just have the free version, and it’s been all I need.
She Reads Truth // I know I’ve posted about She Reads Truth on here a lot, but just can’t say enough great things about this app. It honestly takes away any excuse for not getting in the Word and reading every day. I like to follow their Bible in a Year plan, but prefer reading in the physical book. That said, when you are doing something like nursing or waiting in line at carpool, it’s so handy to be able to pull out your phone and do the reading for the day. Definitely recommend getting this on your phone pronto.
Any apps you are loving lately? Tell me!

1) Nancy Guthrie – Help Me Teach the Bible
– She interviews different teachers. Each person is asked to discuss a particular book in the bible. I don’t have a desire to teach in a bible study setting but these interviews have given me a deeper understanding of the Bible. Really insightful commentaries that are very helpful. And often I do find myself thinking to myself to share some truths with my kids. Love this app.
2) Ligonier Ministries – Renewing Your Mind
– Every day there is a 20 minutes podcast of previous messages usually by R.C.Sproul. I listen to this almost daily while I am buzzing around the house cleaning or working out. I have come to really appreciate R.C. Sproul. I find his disposition one of humility, joy, kindness, and a lot of wisdom concerning the Bible. Sometimes there is a guest speaker on there.
– For both of these apps, I often use these Taotronic bluetooth wireless earphones. They are made to feel very comfortable and snug. LOVE them. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BV2BPVS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1.
